Some highlights from this year’s Hell Week


Salut, mes amis!

It has been an absolutely exhausting week and a half! Hell Week began at sundown on Wednesday the 19th, but my week of hell began earlier that morning. The stomach flu has been going around campus and naturally, my normally amazing immune system decided that it was going to fail me. So I enjoyed the stomach flu on the first day of Hell Week. Thankfully, I was feeling much better by the next day!

For those of you who are wondering “What is this Hell Week?”, let me explain. It is one of the many traditions at Bryn Mawr, and the easiest way to explain it is that it is a spoof off of sorority rushes. Each freshmen (if she so desires) chooses an upperclassmen(s)(traditionally a sophomore) to be their “Heller.” Their Heller(s) then devise a schedule of silly tasks for their Hellee to do throughout Hell…
